Experimente ale modernității

The Experiments of Modernity is conceived as a research master's program to provide students with advanced theoretical training. Its built around a conceptual axis consisting of the binomial multiple modernities/variants of modernity, with a focus on notions of success, dysfunction and failure, dependence, subordination, domination, acculturation, resistance. The conceptual framework aims to train and develop specialists in modern history, adapted to contemporary scientific demands, able to analyze the Romanian case from a comparative and interdisciplinary perspective. The program responds to a priority of public relevance and to the need for fundamental research by investigating a major problem of scientific knowledge with an immediate impact on administrative, economic, social and cultural policies.
