Proiect cofinantat din Fondul Social European prin Programul Operational Capital Uman 2014 – 2020
The Master's program "PHYTOPHARMACEUTICAL BIOTECHNOLOGY" of the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Technologies, Department of Genetic Engineering, offers an interdisciplinary approach, with the mission of theoretical and practical training of specialists in a field of biotechnology, with elements of novelty and originality, which contributes to the accumulation of additional knowledge on the obtaining, production and analysis of phytopharmaceutical forms, which will form the basis of products used in the phytopharmaceutical industry, obtained by modern methods offering a particular alternative to chemical synthesis products. This specialisation ensures the approach to research in cutting-edge areas with an impact on the development of the national economy, allowing the genetic characterisation of raw materials, the identification of specific molecules, the study of their metabolic origin, the understanding of the principles and mechanisms controlling the biosynthesis of secondary metabolites, providing the scientific basis for quality production and at the same time the preservation of medicinal plants used as raw materials.
