Aerospace Engineering

The students acquire skills in using software applications to solve tasks specific to aerospace engineering, the design of the shape and the evaluation of the performance, stability and maneuverability of aircrafts, the design and testing of the primary metal and composite structure elements, the technological design, the manufacture, planning and operation of manufacturing systems, ensuring airport operation in accordance with international aviation regulations and quality manuals. The general objective of the study program is the training of engineering specialist, graduating aerospace engineering, able to integrate quickly in the economic domain in our country or abroad. The mission of this program is the multilateral training of students in the field of aircraft design, manufacture, maintenance, management of manufacturing processes and quality, as well as practical flight activities, with the possibility of obtaining a pilot’s license for gliding. The graduation of this study program offers graduates the possibility to select the profession of aviation engineer in internal or EU companies, as well as in airports. They can choose to continue their professional training by master's degree, PhD and postdoctoral studies.
