Materials Science

The bachelor’s field to which this study program belongs is Materials Engineering. The duration of studies is 4 years (240 ECTS credits).

Students acquire research and design skills in the processes of synthesis and integration of new materials (metallic, ceramic, composite) in high-tech devices in conditions of economic efficiency and environmental protection, analysis of material characteristics and design of technologies for obtaining new products applying advanced techniques.

Completion of this study program enables graduates to approach several professions in the field of Materials Engineering.

Perspectives after graduation: research engineer in materials science, engineer designing materials processing technologies, technological and production engineer, manufacturing programmer, production process coordinator.
