Performing Arts (Acting)

The aim of the basic and master's degree in acting, which is a cornerstone of the Marosvásárhely University of Arts, is to train valuable actors with adequate theater education who are prepared to play roles in stage, film and television performances. The task of the training is to develop the students' talent, artistic sensibility and expressive tools. The bachelor's degree program places great emphasis on learning the basics of theater art, creative stage thinking, and the development of verbal and non-verbal modes of expression when staging performances. An important objective is also the acquisition of the skills and abilities necessary for shaping theatrical roles: experiencing the staging process, developing the creative phases that go from the text to the stage during rehearsals and public performances.
