Business Information Systems

This program (ARACIS re-accredited in 2014) falls within the field of Cybernetics, Statistics and Economic Informatics. The duration of studies is 3 years (180 ECTS credits). The program provides students with advanced knowledge in the field of computer science and economics, through an optimal combination of general economic disciplines with specialized ones. The program was designed in accordance with the standards of European higher education and has a correspondent in the specializations of Business Information Systems, Management Information Systems, providing our graduates with multiple possibilities and increased chances for professional affirmation in the field of informatics. 

Perspectives after graduation: Graduates of this study program will be equally prepared to hold positions in both computer science and economics as they possess solid computer and economic knowledge. Graduates will be able to work in any company, bank, institution, as economists specialized in information technology. They will be able to work in software production and distribution companies, but also to successfully approach the new professions related to e-business and consulting in the field of integrated information systems.
