Between 12–15 November 2025, eleven Romanian higher education institutions participate in the International Education Fair in Cairo, under the #StudyInRomania umbrella, to promote Romania’s academic offer and strengthen bilateral relations in the field of higher education. The participation is organized within framework of the “Romania towards 2030: Increasing International Relevance through the Internationalization of Higher Education” project, implemented by the Executive Agency for Higher Education, Research, Development and Innovation Funding (UEFISCDI) in partnership with the Ministry of Education and Research.
The full program includes:
- Official meetings with Her Excellency Mrs. Olivia TODEREAN, Ambassador of Romania to Cairo, to discuss collaboration opportunities between Romanian and Egyptian universities, as well as prospects regarding Romania’s attractiveness as a study destination.
- Visits to prestigious high schools in Cairo, sessions with students interested in pursuing university studies in Romania, and direct discussions with local school principals.
- Thematic presentations on the Romanian education system, facilities for international students, and networking sessions with Egyptian educational partners.
- Presentation of study opportunities for Egyptian pupils and students interested in studying in Romania.
On Saturday, 15 November 2025, between 15:00 – 19:00, the universities will present be at the Begin Group International Education Fair (at InterContinental Citystars Cair) to present their study programs and opportunities to all those interested in studying in Romania.
