Lucian Blaga University of Sibiu (ULBS) has been officially founded in 1969. There are currently 9 faculties through which ULBS develops its activities:
- Faculty of Agricultural Sciences, Food Industry and Environmental Protection;
- Faculty of Economic Sciences;
- Faculty of Engineering;
- Faculty of Law
- Faculty of Letters and Arts;
- Faculty of Medicine;
- Faculty of Sciences;
- Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities;
- Faculty of Theology.

- 58 Master's programs of which 8 in foreign languages and 1 with triple diploma;

ULBS is located in Sibiu, a multicultural city, where the Romanian, Saxon, Hungarian, Jewish and Roma minorities have been living together peacefully for many centuries. Each ethnic community is encouraged to promote and preserve its own traditions. Every year, the cultural calendar of the city includes events showcasing this ethnic and cultural diversity and which have become part of Sibiu’s brand.
