Lucian Blaga University was founded in 1969. There are currently 9 faculties through which LBUS develops its activities:

Lucian Blaga University of Sibiu is situated in a medieval town, Sibiu, former European Capital of Culture in 2007. Sibiu is a touristic city, which becomes more and more international every year.
