As a member of the educational system of Romania, the University of Life Sciences ''King Mihai I'' from Timişoara (ULST) is a state institution operating in higher education and scientific research.
ULST has six faculties: Agriculture, Eginnering and Applied Technologies, Management and Rural Tourism, Veterinary Medicine, Food Engineering, Bioengineering of Animal Resources. It has 33 bachelor degree, 33 master degree and PhD students in 7 areas: Agronomy, Horticulture, Veterinary Medicine, Food Engineering, Animal Science, Biotechnology and Management):
At present time, ULST has 6566 students and 272 teaching positions.
ULST has study programmes in Romanian, English and French languages.
Students can live and work in the University campus or they can do this in Timisoara, which is the 3rd biggest town in Romania, after Bucharest and Cluj Napoca.
