Founded in 1919, the ANMGD is a state institution for higher education and
research comprising the following types of education:
- Bachelor’s degree
programmes;
- Master degree programmes;
- Doctoral degree programmes.
ANMGD has contributed, due to its
cultural, scientific input and intellectual heritage, to building the identity
of the musical education system of Romania.
Its prestige is owed to the
high number of artistic personalities whose names are linked to this
institution, as well as the legacy left by our forerunners who have
consolidated this school.
