Ever since its foundation in 1949, the Military Technical Academy has been a military higher polytechnic education institution which has cultivated those important values characterizing the personalities of the future specialists in the field of engineering science: competence, scientific honesty, morality, the desire to accomplish the assigned missions.
The military polytechnic higher education has been developing in accordance with the standards of the national higher education and the requirements of the military, providing for the scientific, technical, military, moral competencies and qualities necessary both to the officers and the civilians graduates in engineering science.
The higher education in the Military Technical Academy "Ferdinand I" meets the quality and efficiency national and international standards providing for the academy the possibility of having consistent international cooperation with higher education institutions all over the world, carrying out joint bachelor, master and doctoral programs or international research projects.
