UAUIM continues a long tradition of local architectural higher education, the foundation of which is closely linked with the rise of modern Romania,  during the second half of the 19th century.

The university offers a dynamic and friendly environment where students are encouraged to learn and think creatively, while also developing a sense of  critical thinking, in order to reach their potential for employment in architectural design and urbanism.

The UAUIM operates in 3 locations:
* the main building, located on the Acedemiei street, where most of the teahching spaces al located,
*the building on the Moxa st. hosts most of the Doctoral studies activities, 
*the historical building, located in Sibiu hosts, the B. of ,,Architectural Conservation and Restauration''.

You’ll be joining a school with a long tradition and international recognition.

Housing:

Student’s dormitory: equipped with a shared kitchen. Room capacity: 2/3 beds, private bathroom. Approx. price: 60-120 Euro/month. If you want an accommodation in our students Residence, you must fill in the Accommodation Form on the website.

Other relevant information:

Our University has developed Bilateral Agreements with foreign Universities through which students and teachers have known other social and educational cultures.

In order to become an Erasmus Student at UAUIM, your home university must send a letter (or an e-mail) with the selected students for the next academic year.

The Mincu Students' Association was established in order to represent the common interests of the students from the "Ion Mincu"  University of Architecture and Urban Planning  and to stimulate their participation in the educational act and in the social, economic and cultural life.

The association aims to stimulate, promote and cultivate personal and institutional relationships with students, participate in local, national and international programs for students, initiate projects to promote university values  and promote activities that can encourage a sustainable academic life.
