Founded in 1990, the "Vasile Goldiș" Western University of Arad has evolved into a vibrant hub of intellectual pursuit and cultural enrichment, not only within Arad but also across Transylvania and the broader Euroregional context.

As an integral part of the European research and education landscape, our university boasts affiliations with numerous prestigious international organizations.

Within the University there are six Faculties: Faculty of Law, Faculty of Economic Sciences, Computer Sciences and Engineering, Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Dentistry, Faculty of Pharmacy, Faculty of Social and Humane Sciences and Sports.
